VITOSEAL 100 Due to their special properties, vinyl sealing tapes are universally suitable for all types of sealing applications, both indoors and outdoors. They are characterised by effective sealing properties against air, water, sound, heat and cold.
The polyvinyl chloride foam, which has a predominantly closed-cell structure, is coated with a modified acrylic adhesive. The rolls are wound with the adhesive layer facing inward (for thicknesses up to 10 mm; for greater thicknesses, the adhesive is covered). The sealing tape offers good mechanical strength. It is flexible and conformable, allowing it to adapt easily to uneven surfaces, thereby ensuring optimal sealing.
This product must not be used in conjunction with Plexiglas, as the migration of plasticizers can lead to material damage over time (stress cracking in the Plexiglas). Where direct contact is necessary, other types of foam should be used instead.
