VITO Fugenband
BG2

Joint sealing tape / Compression tape
(Stress group 2)

Pre-compressed, expanding, resistant to driving rain, permanently elastic and ecologically beneficial

VITO FUGENBAND BG2 is a one-sided self-adhesive pre-compressed joint sealing tape based on polyurethane soft foam, saturated with an acrylic impregnation.

It corresponds to DIN 18545: 2009, stress group 2. The requirements concerning thightness to driving rain and air permeability according to DIN EN 1207, class 3 (former designation DIN 18055, group C) are exceeded.

Application

The joint sealing tape Fugenband BG2 is generally used for the sealing of joints in building construction. Among others, it is applied for the sealing of joints between masonry and window frames, façade joints, as well as joints between concrete elements.
